Commitment
Lometrics, Inc. wants this site to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced motion enabled.
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The public pages currently pass automated testing against that standard, and we have verified several things by hand. We do not claim full conformance, because automated testing cannot prove it.
What we have verified
Automated testing with axe-core against WCAG 2.1 A and AA returns no violations on the home, about, contact, and investor login pages. Beyond that, we have checked by hand:
- Text contrast, measured against the background actually composited behind it rather than assumed. Body text sits at 7.5:1 and the smallest labels at 6.5:1, against a 4.5:1 requirement.
- A visible keyboard focus indicator on every interactive element, at 2px with an offset so it is not lost against the dark background.
- A skip link as the first stop in the tab order, which becomes visible when focused.
- Interactive targets sized to at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- The current page marked with
aria-current, not signalled by color alone. - Links distinguished by underline rather than color alone.
- Page structure using real headings and landmarks, with decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology.
Motion
The home page has an animated background and a particle effect. Both are decorative and neither conveys information.
If your system is set to reduce motion, all of it stops: the drifting gradient, the grain, the particle effect, and the scroll reveals. The page renders as a static composition instead. You can turn this on in your operating system's accessibility settings.
Known limitations
We would rather name these than imply the site is perfect.
- Automated tools catch only a portion of accessibility problems. We have not yet completed a full manual audit or testing with real assistive technology users.
- The investor memo is also offered as a PDF. PDFs are frequently difficult for screen readers, and this one has not been remediated. The same content is available as a web page and as markdown, both of which are more accessible.
- The site has not been formally tested across the full range of screen reader and browser combinations.
- Third-party services we rely on, such as analytics, are outside our direct control.
